Our New Year’s Resolution, at CARE Travel for 2018, was to establish a system to evolve our outreach capabilities by showing clients how to help the community, through travel. In this process we have met some really fantastic people, discovered some amazing charities, and our eyes have opened wider, to the world around us. We want to share what we’ve learned with you, and how you can continue to learn how to travel and help the world with us.
How it works
For every new client trip traveled, CARE Travel donates $25, of our commission earned, toward a charity of thier choice. You can find our full list of organizations at: https://caretravel.com/care-travel-makes-difference/. During 2018, the following organizations were impacted:

- Autism Speaks
- Firefighters Support Foundation
- Flint Hills Foster Teen Camp
- Good Shepherd Hospice House
- Jude Children’s Hospital

- American Cancer Society
- Wounded Warriors
- Powers Promise
Progress
Since January (just three short months) this locally owned travel agency has already raised $675 in client donations through their trips, and over $5,000 in total donations to charity, through CARE Travel.

That’s not all, folks
We don’t stop there. In the agency’s efforts to “do good” our fearless leader/CEO/founder of CARE Travel, Niki Rakowitz has also donated $4,000 to Disney Run for our Sons PPMD (hosted in January 2018), $500 to Johnson Cancer Research, and continues Random Acts of Kindness periodically.
