Q: Why should I use a travel agent?

A: Great question! Although our question back to you is why wouldn’t you use a travel designer?! Here at CARE Travel, we are certified professionals that will be your greatest asset when planning and booking your vacation because we care about our clients and the memories you will make! Our goal is to always provide you personalized and concierge service since we know how hard you’ve worked for your money and this experience. CARE Travel will provide you with an advocate, expertise knowledge, unbiased information, multiple options, and a peace of mind when working with our travel designers!

Q: What makes CARE Travel different from other travel agencies?

Q: How do I become a client of CARE Travel?

Q: What type of travel can I plan with CARE Travel?

A: We offer a wide variety of travel experiences, such as weddings, honeymoons, family vacations, adult vacations, group vacations, escorted trips, and bachelor/bachelorette parties to name a few! We’d love to hear what you have in mind to help find you the perfect fit.

Q: Do I need travel insurance? If so, why do I need it?

A: You are not required to get insurance, however, we highly recommend it!! Unexpected things could happen so it’s always better to be safe than sorry. There are different types of insurance so we can help find the one that fits your needs best.

Q: What do I need to know before I travel?

A: One of the many services you will receive from CARE Travel is a final documents consult before you travel! We are here to prepare you for your vacation and answer any and every question you have. Feel free to check out our resources tab on our website for general travel information too!

Q: I don’t live near your office, can I still be a client?

A: Of course, we have clients located all over! We can communicate by phone, email, and web conferencing.

Q: Why should I book through CARE Travel when I could book a room myself online?

It may be true that anyone can look up airfares and hotel rates online; however, travel agents use their training, knowledge, and first-hand expertise for destinations/resorts to help clients plan every detail of their vacations. We believe the most valuable thing we offer is the relationship we form with our clients, which allows us to really understand our client’s travel preferences and budget, to create their dream vacation. This element of care is something one who simply books on an internet site will not experience.

Q: Do I have to pay in full when I reserve my vacation?

If you are booking 3 or more months in advance, no! We offer very competitive pricing and only require a portion if the vacation total to be paid upfront, at time of booking.

Q: How do I reserve my vacation with CARE Travel?

To reserve your room go the ‘Contact CARE Travel’ page on this website and fill out the form. One of our agents will call you for more details and set up a New Client Consultation with you. We like to start our relationship by meeting with you in person or on the phone before we start our quote process, so we can get a sense of your personality and travel preferences FIRST. After this, the planning begins!

Q: What is all-inclusive resort?

An all-inclusive includes all of your meals, snacks, soda, coffee, tea, water, beer, wine, cocktails, and mixed drinks. Some resorts even include in room mini-bar and 24-hour room service, free wifi, non-motorized water sports, and entertainment.

Q: Where do I find the best prices?

We suggest thinking about booking your vacation 6-9 months in advance, for best pricing. Airfare prices, in particular, usually jump in price 5 or fewer months prior to departure date. We do search multiple sites, to get the best and most competitive rates, no matter when you are planning your vacation. We also can price-match in many instances, to get you the optimal package.

Q: Do I need a passport?

If you are traveling outside the United States, the answer is YES! Your passport must not expire within 6 months after travel, to be valid. Travelers are responsible for getting passports and reviewing the entry requirements, but we are here to help with that process.

Q: What is the difference between a passport book and passport card?

The most important difference between U.S. passport books and passport cards is that passport cards are not valid for international air travel; they’re only acceptable for land and sea border crossings between the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Bermuda and the Caribbean.

Q: I have special dietary requirements, are you able to find locations who cater to those restrictions?

We have personal connections to many resorts and cruise lines who can accommodate dietary requirements. We will do our best to provide dining options for you while traveling. Please let us know, prior to booking, of any/all allergies and we will base your quotes on this information and communicate all needs to your dining supplier.

Q: Do I need travel insurance?

We strongly encourage travel insurance protection. There are many types of insurance, but we try to quote you “cancel for any reason” insurance, when possible. This protects your investment and any unanticipated travel emergencies.

Q: How early should I arrive to the airport, prior to my flights departure time?

We encouraged all international travelers to arrive three hours prior to flight departure, and domestic travelers to arrive two hours prior to flight departure time. This allows enough time for parking, airport shuttle, checking your bags, and going through security processing. You are encouraged to contact your airline as times may vary depending on the airport and date of travel.
